About us
Sunshine Society is a non-profit organization based out of Surrey, British Columbia. Sunshine Society is built on the values of community, inclusivity, and leadership. Our mission is to provide humanitarian aid to those in need in our local community. Sunshine Society plans to reduce stigma on topics that are looked down upon in society through our passion for volunteerism. Our continuously growing team aims to educate our community through social media about our community’s very present issues – such as homelessness, food insecurity, mental health awareness, and more. Sunshine Society’s ultimate goal is to provide underprivileged individuals with resources that improve their everyday lives and put smiles on their faces.

For our first initiative of the year, Sunshine Society, with your generosity, hopes to raise money towards supporting those less fortunate individuals within our community who currently rely on shelters for housing and resources. Similar to our 2020 Winter initiative, the goal is to bridge the gap in inadequate funding that shelters have been seeing especially throughout the pandemic.
